What's the region board's role? This collaborative team provides guidance, support and development opportunities for chapter leaders and members-at-large, fosters growth within the Region, and serves as a communication conduit between members, chapters and the IABC International Executive Board.

2020 Regional Conference Chair
Help lead a dynamic committee of chapter and region volunteers as we plan and execute our fall 2020 conference. (Second co-chair needed.)
Finance Support Specialist
This shadowing role is a great learning opportunity and can be a stepping stone to Finance Chair.
2020 Conference Committee Members
Roles involve arranging speakers, booking sponsors, handling logistics, organizing volunteers, marketing and more.
Members-at-Large Support
Attract, engage, and retain members who are not near a chapter while helping them gain the most from their IABC membership.

Chapter Relations/Chapter Liaisons
Board role: Share valuable ideas and resources with chapter leaders, help chapters overcome obstacles and help inactive chapters reactivate.
Silver Quill Awards Committee
Help drive and recognize communication success. Available roles involve promotions, entrant support, evaluation/judging coordination and recognition.

Communication Support:
Communication Specialist
Support communication within the region board and external communication helping members and leaders across the 17-state IABC Heritage Region make the most of their experience.
Student Relations Chair
Board role: Develop strategy and execute tactics to increase student recruitment and facilitate the development of new student chapters in our region.
Communication Support:
Webinar Specialist
Help organize, promote and evaluate our webinar programs, embrace best practices, learn technical skills, help your colleagues develop professionally and engage with outstanding professionals from across our region and beyond.
