Region Board Leadership and Volunteer Support
The region board open opportunities at the executive and general board level, as well as committee openings. For more information, contact Amy Miller, region chair, at email@example.com or Mary Bogan, past chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Communication chair: Manage all internal and external communication, work with region chair and others to create and oversee the communication plan and editorial calendar, take minutes at board meetings, and manage website and social media. This is an officer position and requires attendance at monthly officer calls and monthly general board meetings. Some work can be delegated to the communication support volunteer.
Chapter relations support:: Be part of a dynamic team organized to provide ideas, assistance and collaboration opportunities to chapter leaders across the region.
Certification chair: Help members and non-members from the IABC Heritage Region apply for IABC communication certification. Coordinate with team members at International, at our conference and in chapters within our 17-state region.
Members-at-large committee member/support: Assist the members-at-large chair with outreach, networking and sharing of professional development opportunities/member-only benefits.
